Who we are
Marcus Results is a paid advertising agency for home services trades, based in Brisbane, Queensland. You can reach us any time at [email protected] or 0457 765 928.
What we collect
What you give us. When you fill in our contact form we collect your name, business name, phone number, email, and anything you write in the message box. That's it. We don't ask for payment details on this site.
What's collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how people use the site: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These record things like pages visited, rough location (city level), device type, and how you move around the page. Clarity may record anonymised session replays (mouse movement and scrolling). None of this identifies you by name.
How we use it
If you send us an enquiry, we use your details to do exactly what you asked: make your free game plan video and get back to you. We may follow up about your enquiry by phone, SMS or email.
We use analytics to see what's working on the site and improve it. We do not sell your details to anyone, ever.
Who it's shared with
Your enquiry details pass through the tools we run the business on:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- Resend, which delivers our email notifications
- Our CRM, where enquiries are stored and followed up
- Google and Microsoft, for the analytics described above
Some of these providers store data outside Australia (mainly the United States). We only share what's needed to respond to you.
Cookies
The analytics tools above set cookies to tell repeat visitors from new ones. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work fine.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept while we're talking to you, or while you're a client, plus a reasonable period afterwards for records. If you never become a client, we clear old enquiries out periodically.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll sort it, usually within a few days. If you're not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version goes up on this page with a new date at the top. No sneaky edits.
